Introduction
Hello! And thank you for coming to this site. It is good to meet with you.
Firstly and most importantly, I must make it quite clear that although this blog is titled ‘Talk of Christ’, it is not a Christian site. And I must also make it equally clear that it is not a non or anti Christian site either. It is simply an expression of Truth. And, if you can get it, it will facilitate within you the realisation of what, indeed, you are doing here on earth. Only then can the problems on earth be properly solved and the Kingdom of God be truly entered.
This is a big claim I know. But it is necessary for me to be so bold in order to first get your attention, and then most importantly, to get some real results. Because what value is anything of this nature unless it does get results? So what if you believe in Jesus, and you call yourself a Christian. Or that you practise Budhism, Scientology or Atheism? So what? Are you and the world better off for it? Do you feel and express more and more vibrant living love in your life as a result of your believing? Or is there something deep within you that intuits something fundamentally incorrect with any belief system that limits your experience, and must fight and manipulate others in order to sustain itself? Perhaps so, and perhaps this is why you have discovered this site.
As far as I am concerned, I am moved to talk of Christ because I am a western man, using the English language, and Christ is the correct word to be used with regard to what I have to say. The understanding of the word has the power to effect the change that is necessary in these times. So… What is Christ?
Undoubtedly you will already have some kind of idea, belief or notion about what Christ is from what you have had impressed upon you by our culture – the church, your parents, and the media. However, listening to the information presented in this blog through the filters of what you have been told and believe (or disbelieve), will not ever allow you the depth of experience you seek that will confirm within you beyond doubt the truth of Christ and therefore the truth of yourself.
To get the full value and potential power contained within this information, you must listen with the body. You must listen with the natural intelligence of the body – your body. And not with the conditionings of your mind.
You must listen with your heart, your soul. You must be still…. and simply listen.
Christ is The Divine Idea of Man on Earth, realised and lived by man on earth. Man, of course, being the human being – male or female.
That, in essence, is what Christ is. Of course there is much more to be said on and around the subject, but that will do for now. Please don’t try to think about or understand what you have just read. See if you can resist that temptation. Just read it again… and again. Hear it. And let it in – it won’t, it can’t, hurt you…
In the posts that follow, I will speak about the reality of Christ often, and it will become clearer what it means and what it is. But right now I’m going to make a statement about life, and after reading it, you will either engage this blog fully … or dismiss it entirely….
We all have the potential to experience a privileged Life,
full of opportunity, health and happiness,
and free of unnecessary suffering.
You, have this potential.
This is the Truth.
Now there are three things that you can do with this information. 1; you can dismiss it as being nonsense and argue against it as being untrue, or 2; you can believe it, or believe in it, or 3; you can be open to the fact that it is true (or might be true), and test what follows in your own life, thus proving it either way to yourself.
In the first case, if you choose to dismiss this as rubbish, or impossible idealism, then you will most probably close this window immediately, or more likely, you would not even have been drawn to it in the first place.
In the second case, if you choose to believe it or believe in it, then the information that follows can only serve you so far. There is little value in believing in something, compartmentalising into something separate from you, and then getting on with your life in exactly the same way.
It is the third case that we are most interested in here, because it is the one that will change your life.
The value of this blog, if it has any for you, is that through reading and hearing the information presented, change for the good will occur in your life. This is not a promise, it is a fact. So please read on and enjoy. I welcome all comments and questions.
