Making Love, Having Sex

There is a distinct and fundamental difference between making love, and having sex. And it is important to understand … if you want to be happy that is.

Making love is when two bodies come together consciously and unite sexually. It is a giving to one another, it has no end, and it generates or summons divine energy in the psyche of the earth, which has a direct and positive effect on the couple making love, but further, it actually helps heal the earth and everything on it. Having sex, on the other hand, is when you virtually use another to get high (have an orgasm). It is an emotional reach for the divine, a desperate attempt to experience the depths of ourselves through orgasm, if for only a moment before continuing on with our lost and lonely lives. Although you may not know it consciously, there may be a distant recognition or resonance within you about the truth of this, especially in women. Or, on the other hand, especially in men, there may be a reaction to what I am saying, because it’s a very sensitive subject.

Orgasm driven fucking, although it can be delightful within the context of a loving connection with another, is an irresponsible and powerful way in which pent up emotional ignorance is released and regenerated on the earth, and to the detriment of all. But of course, not many know about this, and it’s a bit of a personal subject, a bit too close to the bone for many to face it in this way.

Woman is the earth. Her energy is symbolic of the feminine principle, being that which receives energy as divine idea, and gives birth to it as existence. Man is symbolic of this energy source, the provider and protector of all that woman represents. It is a divine and beautiful relationship when it is allowed to be this way, which is to say, when it can simply BE without the interference of the human mind and all its concepts, beliefs and worries about what love is and where to find it.

Woman gives birth – makes real – to all that man puts into her. If she is truly loved by man, she will receive and reflect this love back as she swells and blossoms to be so beautiful in all that she says and does in the world. And then man will once again have a sense of his place and importance in the world as provider and protector of the earth and its beauty. He will rest easy and confident in the knowledge of his loving, for this is what he wants, deep down. But as it is in the world today, man only puts his ignorance into woman. He can’t stay with her for long in this ignorance, so he’s got to come. And in coming he goes, and every woman knows it.

Love is so rare on this planet because not many are actually making love. So it follows doesn’t it? How can there be love, if no one is making any? But of course no love can be made with another until it is recognised and lived by the individual first. It is absolutely, utterly impossible to find love in another. And if you think you can, then you are only sucking love out of that person, and then there’s a little less love in the world again.

Take responsibility for your love. Go into your body and find the sensation of it. Let it guide you in your life, and then eventually it will guide you to another who is ready to make beautiful love with you. Looking for love through having sex, not only doesn’t work… it sucks.
